Date(s) - 11 Oct
Frensham Pond SC
As current GP14 joint class captain (with Jon Denyer) at Frensham I am pleased to inform you that we are planning to host the open scheduled for 11th October.
The plan is to have a joint open with Enterprises & Larks with the number of boats limited to a total of 35 and it is expected Frensham Sailing Club members will be prioritised, still allowing some capacity for visiting sailors (based on previous open meeting numbers).
Use this LINK to the Frensham Pond Sailing Club official web page covering online entry details and notice of race for the GP14/ Enterprise/ Lark Open Meeting, 11th October. The number of entrants will be limited so please register as early as you can. You will receive an ACCEPTANCE email if your Entry has been successful.
Please note that there will be no food or drink available on the day so please bring your own supplies. There will be limited changing and toilet facilities and strict social distancing in place across the site.
We are currently working through the implementation of strict social distancing measures with the general committee in order to have a safe environment on shore and off shore at all times, which is the primary concern.
The measures we are putting in place include access to on-line registration/ information pack, prior to being welcomed on the day with clear instructions about where to rig, launch and recover for each class. Visitors and groups will be asked to keep together and marshalling will be in place. Clear fleet specific zones with areas of socially distanced seating when off the water will assist this. This will help disperse people across the site, including at lunchtime and after racing when there is most risk of contact.
